Looking to replace my tired old Class C and stumbled across a 2019 Winnebago Navion on kjrepo.com. It's listed as a bank repo and the current bid is way under what I'm seeing on RVTrader.

The photos look legit and they say title is clean with lien release handled by the bank. Still, sending a wire for that kind of money to a site I've never used is a little scary.

Has anyone here actually bought an RV or tow vehicle through kjrepo.com? Curious how accurate their condition reports are, how long the title took, and whether delivery showed up when promised.

I bought my current tow rig (2020 F-350 diesel) from kjrepo.com back in May. Overall, good experience. They handled the payoff and lien release with the credit union and I had a clean title in my mailbox about ten days after the truck was dropped off.

Condition report matched reality. A couple of rock chips and a scuff on the rear bumper that were mentioned but looked worse in photos than in person. Mechanically it was spot on – I still had my own shop go through it once it arrived, but nothing scary turned up.

Biggest thing is to read the inspection and photo set like a hawk. It's still an auction, so no returns. But for the price I paid I'm very happy with the risk.

We picked up a 2017 Forest River fifth-wheel from kjrepo last year. Like you, we were nervous, so I called their support line and asked way too many questions. They were patient and walked me through how the bank handles the paperwork.

Delivery to Colorado took about a week. Driver did a walk-around with me and noted a couple of cosmetic dings on the form. Nothing major, and everything matched the photos. The title came via FedEx with a separate envelope from the lender showing the lien release.

Not saying every unit is perfect – these are repos – but the process itself was smooth and I never felt like it was a scam.

From the shop side, I've inspected three rigs recently that came from kjrepo.com. All three had accurate disclosures: soft floor by the entry on one, worn slide topper on another, and some delam starting on the third. None of that was hidden – it was all in the report if you took time to read.

My standard advice:

  • Budget a few thousand for "catch-up" maintenance and surprises.
  • Make sure you understand the buyer's fee and transport cost before bidding.
  • Screen-shot the listing so you have a record of how it was represented.

As long as you go in with realistic expectations, the deals can be very good.

We didn't buy a motorhome but did snag a 2021 Toyota 4Runner from kjrepo to use as our toad. Process was almost identical to what others have described here. Wire went to their escrow account, they confirmed receipt, then scheduled transport.

Title showed up a week later with no surprises. I like that they send a PDF purchase agreement and keep everything pretty structured – feels more like a dealership than some of the sketchy auction sites I've seen.

lol I was literally gonna ask the same question! Been watching a 2018 Jayco Jay Flight on there for like a week now. The pics look really good tho and the price is insane compared to what dealers want. Im just worried about hidden water damage or somethin that wont show up til after I already bought it

Do they let u get ur own inspector to look at it before the auction ends or is it basically just trust the photos?

Really appreciate all the feedback, everyone. I reached out to kjrepo support yesterday and they answered every question I threw at them, including how the Navion title will be handled and what happens if the bank drags its feet.

Auction ends tomorrow night and I've got my max bid set. If I win, I'll update this thread with how delivery and title transfer go so there's another data point here for future folks.

Thanks again – this is why I love RVForumsOnline. 👍

Just to add another data point - I bought my Ram 3500 dually from kjrepo about 8 months ago. Paid $34k for a truck that was listed at $48k at every dealer within 200 miles. The condition report was brutally honest about some scratches in the bed and a small dent in the tailgate, but the engine and trans were perfect.

Got the title in 12 days, no drama. Honestly the whole thing was easier than buying from some of the shadier used car lots Ive dealt with over the years. Just read everything carefully and dont expect perfection for repo prices.

My husband and I just won our first auction on kjrepo last week! We got a 2020 Thor Quantum Class C for about 30% less than anything comparable we found. Still waiting on delivery (scheduled for next Thursday) but the customer service people have been super responsive to all my nervous questions lol

Ill update after we get it and can see if everything matches the listing!

ngl I was skeptical at first but after reading everyones experiences here Im thinking of bidding on a F250 theyve got listed. The savings are crazy compared to regular dealers and it sounds like the title process is legit. Worst case I budget extra for repairs like RVTechRyan said

Been full timing for 6 years and I actually bought my current rig (2021 Tiffin Allegro) from kjrepo back in March. Saved probably $45k compared to dealer prices for the same year and mileage. The inspection report was like 40 pages with tons of photos showing every little scratch and ding.

Only issue I had was the fridge needed the cooling unit replaced ($1,200) but that was kinda expected for a repo - previous owner probably didnt maintain it. Everything else has been rock solid for the past 5 months. Would def buy from them again.

My parents bought a 2019 Coachmen Freelander from kjrepo for their retirement and theyve been super happy with it. They were worried about the whole repo thing at first but the sales team walked them through everything step by step. Title came in like 2 weeks and the RV showed up exactly as described. No hidden surprises.

Honestly for the prices theyre offering its worth the small risk imo. I bought mine 3 years ago from them and its been great. Just make sure u actually read the whole condition report and dont skip over stuff cuz u get excited about the price lol. If somethings gonna be a problem itll be in the report

UPDATE: I won the auction on that Winnebago Navion! Final bid was $67,200 which is absolutely insane - comparable units at dealers were all $85k+. Wire transfer went through their escrow system and they confirmed receipt within 2 hours.

Delivery is scheduled for next Friday. The support team has been amazing - answered every single question I had about the title process and what to expect on delivery day. Ill post another update once I have the RV in hand and can do a full walkthrough.

Thanks again everyone for sharing your experiences. This thread gave me the confidence to actually go through with the bid! 👍
